The minimum allowable bending radius of PEXC pipe is 5 times the outer diameter of the pipe, and the minimum allowable bending radius of the guide arc is 3.5 times the outer diameter of the pipe.
PEXC pipe is a polymer material pipe fitting, scientifically known as radiation cross-linked polyethylene pipe, which uses high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the production raw material and is cross-linked by high-energy rays (electron beam or gamma ray). This special production process gives PEXC pipe many excellent properties, including improved durability, enhanced corrosion resistance, good hot bending properties, thermal oxidation resistance and noise reduction properties.
When laying PEXC gas pipelines, it is necessary to pay attention to the allowable bending radius of the pipeline. In general, the allowable bending radius of the pipeline should not be less than 5 times the nominal outer diameter. When there is a socket joint on the bent pipe section, the allowable bending radius should not be less than 125 times the nominal outer diameter.
