PE Quick Connect Ball Valve 20mm, PN16
The simplest way to put a shut-off on a PE line. Push the pipe into each end, give the collar a turn, and the valve is on. No heat, no glue, nothing to thread - and when you're done with it, release the collar and it comes back off.
ON and OFF are raised characters, molded right into the handle, so nobody has to guess which way the water's going; a quarter turn takes it from shut to fully open. The body is PP and rated PN16. Each end locks the same way: a toothed split ring grips the pipe as you push it in, and the collar draws it tight. The seal is mechanical - no O-rings, and no rubber that'll need replacing a few years down the road.
Two things we tell people before they install one. Close the valve first, so the pipe slides in easy. And treat the lever as a position indicator, not a wrench: turn it to the stop and stop. Forcing it past just strains the stem.
Where it goes
Drip and sprinkler irrigation, greenhouse and lawn watering, drinking-water lines, and outdoor runs that get moved around. If the line is a permanent buried main under pressure, that's a job for a fused or flanged valve, not a quick connector. We'd rather tell you that up front than have you find out the hard way.
